Vaccination against Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) is offered free of charge to all Princeton University employees who may be occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens. All students and employees whose research involves work with human-source material are offered the opportunity to accept or decline the HBV vaccine through the Bloodborne Pathogen training program. Those who decline the Hepatitis B vaccine must sign a statement of declination.
