SHIELD (Safety Health Inspection and Equipment Logistics Database) is the new campus-wide health and safety management software. EHS expects that this software will revolutionize the way that Princeton research laboratories and operations facilities manage health and safety information.
SHIELD combines health and safety information about research/facility groups, departments, buildings, rooms, supervisors and researchers into one concise, easy-to-use database. The database tracks training, equipment and inspection records, making them easily accessible for principal investigators, supervisors, managers and other designees to view, edit and track.
