Nov. 7, 2022 Update: A special two-day intensive session of Supervising for Safety will be offered as part of Safe + Sound Week at Princeton, August 12-18, 2024.The Office of Environmental Health & Safety is excited to announce the Supervising for Safety Certificate Program. Developed specifically for supervisors and managers across campus, the 3-session program is designed to help those who supervise employees to become proficient leaders for safety. Sessions include: Safety Management Fundamentals β attendees will learn and have an opportunity to practice safety management fundamentals, such as reporting and managing workplace injuries, understanding University policy, and understanding the safety regulatory environment.Building a Safety Culture β attendees will be introduced to ideas and help develop examples of how to build or enhance a safety culture in their unit, whether itβs a shop, lab, or entire department or division.Advanced Safety Management β this session will help attendees take their safety culture to the next level in order to create a proactive, safety-focused work environment for all.Please join us for this new, highly interactive initiative to help supervisors and managers become safety leaders. Attendees can register for all upcoming sessions on the Employee Learning Center.Depending on demand, sessions will be offered 2-4 times per year.
