EHS has welcomed a new program manager for radiation safety. Colt Greer comes to Princeton with over a decade of experience in the field, most recently serving as the Sr. Health Physicist at Temple University and Temple Health System.
As the Sr. Program Manager for Radiation Safety at Princeton, Colt acts as the face of the University’s radiation safety program, ensuring safe and compliant usage of all radioactive materials and radiation producing equipment.
The role includes the responsibilities of serving as Princeton University’s radiation safety and laser safety officer with a focus on maintaining and promoting the University’s interests with regard to radiation safety regulations.
Colt holds a BS in Health Physics from Bloomsburg University and a Master in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State University.
In addition to his job duties, Colt currently serves as President of the Delaware Valley Society for Radiation Safety (DVSRS) Chapter of the Health Physics Society (HPS).
“I look forward to applying my knowledge in radiation safety to support the cutting edge research being conducted at Princeton University,” he said. “I aspire to maintain and strengthen the well-established safety culture, where safety and health are at the core of facilitating the University’s mission.”
