As of March 8, 2017, Princeton University has instituted a new waste removal and collection process for the main campus.
The Department of Environmental Health and Safety has contracted with vendors to have waste collected directly from laboratories and other generation points. The new system eliminates the need to transport waste from the point of generation to a loading dock or collection station.
Collection will take place on Thursdays, excluding University holidays and closings.
New Online Form
Individuals needing to have waste removed can now request pickups using the Waste Removal Request Form on the EHS website.
Requests placed before 5:00pm on Wednesday will be included in that week's collection. Requests placed after that time will be removed the following week.
