In response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the University’s Emergency Management Group is asking Departments, Labs and Centers to inventory PPE.
This includes N95 masks, gloves, gowns, protective eyewear and any other personal protective equipment (PPE) not otherwise needed for operation of campus facilities.
Environmental Health and Safety has created a form to use to identify supplies that are available for donation.
Please have the appropriate faculty or staff members complete this form for your unit as soon as possible. Your unit should assess its own needs and retain what is needed to safely complete any ongoing activities. If no one in the unit is planning to be on campus, please do not come in just for this purpose.
Once the inventory has been completed, there will be follow-up communications to confirm the process to pick up items for donation. The University is working with the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management and will determine how to distribute the items in a fair and equitable fashion based on need. If you are asked for donations going forward or have already received such requests but not addressed them, please forward your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
