Robin Izzo Named ACS Fellow

Assistant Vice President of EHS Robin Izzo has been named a 2023 American Chemical Society (ACS) fellow.

To mark this significant honor, a surprise toast was held at the EHS office on August 21 attended by Katie Callow-Wright, Marie Antonetti, Tara Zarillo, Pablo Debenedetti and many others.

Robin joins a prestigious group of honorees that includes Nobel Prize winners and past presidents of the ACS. The award honors ACS members who have achieved excellence in two defined areas: scientific/professional accomplishments and service to the ACS community.

The 2023 Fellows Ceremony took place on August 14 as part of ACS Fall 2023 in San Francisco. The complete list of 42 new fellows is available on the Chemical and Engineering News website.
