Workplace Safety Highlighted During Safe + Sound Week 2024

Princeton EHS is joining businesses and universities around the country August 12-18 in showing our commitment to workplace safety and health.

 

Safe + Sound Week returns to Princeton in 2024 with a series of promotions and special events highlighting the University's commitment to workplace safety. 

Staff from all corners of campus are invited to participate in fun and informative activities to show our safety stripes. Participants have a chance to win prizes and custom merchandize.

Take 10 and Take Action

Take 10 minutes to inspect your workplace for safety issues related to equipment, housekeeping and other areas. Our checklist will help you identify and remediate common hazards.   

Supervising For Safety

Kelly States from EHS will be presenting a special edition of her award-winning Supervising for Safety course during Safe + Sound week. The 3-session program is designed to help those who supervise employees to become proficient leaders for safety.

Princeton University is committed to maintaining and advancing a culture where safety and health are core values, adopted and practiced throughout all levels of the University.
 
This month we join other organizations and businesses nationwide in marking Safe + Sound Week, August 12-16, 2024.  The week gives us an opportunity to raise awareness of the value of safety and health programs, and reinforce our commitment to a safe and health working environment.
